Pyrelli performed at the 2006 MOBOS and has featured on several UK remixes alongside Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Scribe and P Money. In 2007 he opened for rapper Mos Def at the Islington Academy and last year was the opening act for legendary rap duo Red and Meth. Quickly becoming a well-respected name within the industry, the hard-working rapper has now performed around the world, including sold out gigs in New York, Canada, Spain and Sweden. His stunning live BBC Maida Vale session earlier in the year earned him rave reviews. Hosted by urban industry taste maker DJ Ras Kwame – the session became a favourite among Radio 1/1Xtra listeners.
His success on Channel 4′s Orange Unsigned Act last year has become one of his biggest career highlights. Aired weekly on T4 and 4Music – Pyrelli’s unquestionable talent and likable personality got him through to the final nine out of a staggering 7,500 acts. Pyrelli’s fantastic acoustic performance with only a violist literally left the judges speechless and opened up a new audience to the talented artist.
Now the talented rapper is looking to the future. Inspired by the success of 2008 – Pyrelli is back in the studio cooking up some heat! Working with the legendary Funky D L and DJ Shortee Blitz, Pyrelli promises a new mixtape and a new album. If that wasn’t enough – Pyrelli is also getting ready to make his acting debut. Having completed his BTec First Diploma in Performing Arts, the multi-faceted artist is currently considering scripts and will be seen on a screen near you very soon!
